My SO compared giving away his cat who pooped everywhere to giving away our almost two year old son , some people might not like this but I really don't animals at all and to compare that makes absolutely no sense to me

so my hospital said they don't give the baby pacifiers!! they said if I decide to circumcize my baby they will give them one for the day then throw it away.. I wonder why?
I don't like any animals that shed by the baby or his stuff. I don't ever want hair to get in my baby's mouth and at my boyfriends parents house animal hair is always in the air going on everything 😬
