Definitely because had I known I would have understood why I wasn't feeling movements as much. I blame my mw though I've found the ones at the assessment unit amazing but she's old school & a pain in the arse lol xx

I didn't feel movements until 27 weeks and not proper movements til 30 weeks I've been in three times with reduced movements too but was only told this on my third visit xxx

@meadraven, its not a concern :) they should have told you but maybe they didn't want you to worry over nothing? your baby is fine xx

@meadraven I wasn't ever told the position of my placenta in my 12 week scan but was for my 20 week :) xxx

Wooow hun! That isn't good! I was told at my 20 week scan! I was shocked to say the least because I had felt movements from 11/12 weeks and proper kicks at 17/18 weeks. So wasn't expecting them to tell me that I had one! 😯😯 I was told my one was high so well away from the cervix x x x

they only tell you if they concerned, or if it's too low that it's blocking anything for labour and if u have to be ready scanned later on to see if it's gonna be c section or notx

I have this but found out at 16 weeks, I was really upset I wouldn't be able to feel anything but then started feeling kicks at 18 weeks! ❤

I only just found out I have that at 36 weeks!! Because I went in for reduced movements and the midwife (who's the best one I've seen) told me.

I had this too I didn't feel anything at all untill 23 weeks and I found out for myself noone told me I had it. :/ x

It's been all the way thru for me. My first scan at 12 wks was where I seen the notes from but my last scan at 32 wks also showed it was anterior. I was feeling her from about 18-20 wks but not as much as I expected. There's no mistaking her movements now tho haha xx

I'm 22 weeks and 2 days but haven't felt proper kicks. I think I've felt little movements now and again over the last couple of weeks

I'm 20 weeks and 4 days now. I feel him shifting around and at 5am I had some strong kicks but I generally feel not much at all :( what about you? sorry you have it too :( @emma23g

well I have felt kicks but baby is generally extremely quiet and I've been worried sick. I was going to ask about it at my anatomy scan tomorrow but I just saw from my 12 week scan that my placenta was anterior so at least there's comfort in lack of movement but no trust in the docs! :( @sleckenby

How many weeks are you? I got told at my scan that I've got an anterior placenta. I still haven't felt the baby kick properly 😩😔

It was the same with me. I found out by reading my scan notes. Pretty poor of them not to say anything cos ppl do panic if they aren't feeling kicks like they'd expect to and at least that's a reason why they mightnt xx
