for the first few weeks your man should take care of all the cleaning for you so you can rest. it may not be the best cleaning. but straighten up, wiping the counters down and doing the laundry is so big. and the rest can wait. he should be able to get paid paternity leave to. so have him check into it. companies don't like to tell their employees that.
@junesmommy15, it was unreal for me with my first but then again I was in a noise apartment and my family wouldn't leave me alone. the sleep I got was 5 hrs a day when my husband would make everyone leave me alone. hopefully now that it's just us in the country sleep will be easier
@shannaa24, love my husband but he sucks at cleaning and we don't have a dishwasher. I actually get more mad when he cleans cuz he puts everything in the wrong place then has no idea where he put it. hopefully I will get a decent amount of sleep but only time will tell when the baby gets here.
also my husband works 12 hr shifts so he's not much help even if he wants to be and the company he works for only offers unpaid maternity leave which would screw us
@shannaa24, I tried girl its hopeless lol he grew up with a hoarder so it actually has gotten better. he at least realizes the house is messy before it gets bad lol. besides Im happy as long as he's spending time with his son. which he's great at when he's not working

I wish I could sleep. Sometimes I use that time as time for myself and when I'm ready to nap baby wakes up.
