I remember the first couple of weeks after Em was born, I tried clipping his nails but was worried I would cut too short so I decided to chew them instead. As I was chewing them, my boyfriend looks up from his phone and FREAKS out. He pushes my head away from my sons hand and I SNAPPED. "Don't you EVER tell me what I can and can't do with my son and you damn sure better never put your hands on me again!!" We've never fought like that before and it's not like he actually "hit" me. I just know that was the first time I felt like a mama bear. I was going to tear him to shreds in that moment, but he apologized and felt really bad afterwards. Don't mess with mama bear because chances are you'll get your ass handed to you.
