usually u ovulate/conceive 2 weeks after the first day of ur last period.

i conceived on birth control and unfornutely u may not know because bc can make u ovulate earlier or later and sometimes it makes ur periods wacko. i have 2 due dates 2 weeks apart.

I had my best friend explain it to me...cuz they told me how far along I was by ultrasound that that's how long the baby has been in the uterus...and that there is like another month cuz it's really 10 months of the pregnancy process not just 9 and she's a nurse so that makes a whole lot of sense! Lol

well technically your baby doesn't even implant right away it's takes a while for it to leave your tube so go by the day you had sex

@noemysmom, lol I'm just confused cuz I counted back 19 weeks and it says it's Septmeber 19th which is my birthday....so is that like the day it's officially in the uterus or considered the day or around the time we had sex?

well we always have had unprotected sex but he pulls out. so we never had any worries. but I thought I would have a hard time conceiving bc my mom did and I thought my boyfriend had weak swimmers. so he finished inside me one night and I marked it in my calendar just in case and sure enough I missed my next period and took a test and was pregnant. so it's just hard to figure it all out if you don't track things

you're 18 weeks now go back 19 weeks and add how ever many days you are like 18 and 2 or whatever because pregnancy goes for about 40 weeks but if we add the week of conception and the second week technically you'd be pregnant for 42 weeks

@kacismom, but if I count back from where I am now it was on my birthday....and I was on my like short like period thing that isn't normal for me but I'm not due till June 18th and I'll be 19 weeks tomorrow....and we didn't even have sex at all near any of those days! lol

I don't think it even makes sense bc your due date is determined by your last period. my last period was Aug 4 but I know the day we conceived was aug 7. yet they count 40 weeks from Aug 4. idk it doesn't make sense to me lol

@kacismom, and the day you count back is the conception date? Or is that when it is implanted into the uterus?

I've always had irregular periods so I've always tracked when I had sex. And when I found out how far along I was I just counted backwards to the day.

I did the same thing as @immaddoxsmommie2016 bc I never tracked anything, never knew exactly when my period was gonna start and didn't even realize I missed my period until I found out I was pregnant at 3 weeks

I'd just ask them or count back from your due date like pp said too lol I didn't even have a guess how far along I was let along when I conceived haha

@paige1212, mine wasn't planned either that's why I was further along when I found out lol but never gave me an estimated conception...

they gave me an estimate the day I got my first ultrasound... because I had no idea because I didn't plan my little man lol

@brinleysmommy, I didn't track any of that stuff besides my period.....which is always about 7 days or longer...just like in August it was normal and in September it was short like only 4 days and lite....and then like a few months later I found out I was 6-8 weeks pregnant!!! Lol so like we have no idea

its easier to know if you track ovulation I ovulated on October 22 @sharonpaige13 so I concieved that day or very close to it
