I breastfeed and really would like to pump to help up my supply but my lo eats every 1.5-2 hrs a lot of the time so there's really no time between feeding, burping and changing diapers , and of course rocking a fussy baby because even then I need to rest or eat.. Any advice? Or just wait until feedings spread out more?
Breast feeding is a full time job I really want to give up already 😢
how often should I feed my 1 week old I feed her every 3 hours but some times she's so asleep she doesn't want to get up and eat and some times she gets up right on time to eat. when she's really sleeping and it's time to feed her it's hard to wake her up should I just let her sleep?
My son was on the opposite side. with this pregnancy I'm sick all the time don't really have the desire to eat home cooked food. with my son I was never sick always wanted to eat. gender guesses ?? tell me your symptoms
Lady at WIC making me feel bad cause I want to formula feed & breast feed my baby, like it isn't my fault my chubby bunny eats 2x what I produce, & I refuse to let my child starve so yes I will formula feed him. 👀😒
So my son has never been breast feed or bottle feed (he eats by his feeding tube) and the last couple of days he has been trying to eat my breast and when I say eat I mean bitting them idk why and I told the nurse's and they said he might be teething I really hope he is lol and he is fighting sleep so bad right now

I pumped right after burping my daughter or as soon as she went down for a nap and only pumped for 15-20 mins each time and that really helped my supply plus eating oatmeal cookies

@santistevanmommie, thank you. I just feel like sometimes he doesn't even give me that lol. Guess I've just got a let him cry during that time huh.? Today he wouldn't let me put him down

I try to do it when she's occupied or put him next to you so you can play with him while pumping. Babies definitely go through spurts of wanting to be held all the time

It's hard because he's only going to be a month @santistevanmommie so playtime is so limited and he still sleeps the majority of the time but only if rocked lol and I'm alone 95% of the day

After you rock him to sleep does he allow you to put him down?? Even if you lay him in your bed next to you for the time you pump would be okay, and the good thing is if you pump and he wakes up and decided to eat it would be okay because you wouldn't have drained your boobs enough to where he wouldn't be able to nurse

I'll try it . I've had that problem before where I actually didn't have enough milk after pumping and had to give him what I pumped. Kind of discouraging lol

Feed on one side and pump the other. Empty breast make milk too!!! BTW it's kinda early to pump. you don't want a over supply of milk. It's sounds good but it's really not

@mamachandler, i had to pump early on and was told to keep pumping.. I thought about pump/ breastfeed but my little one nurses on both sides . I pumped In between feedings yesterday and ended up having to use half of what I pumped because I was dry..
