we purchased an uppababy mesa infant seat. We went to a buy buy baby store and looked at many different ones. I was very interested in a brand called cybex but the uppababy won us over.

supposedly if you buy a model now any distributor you buy it from will have the seats that have nothing to do with the recall. something about ones made between a certain date. according to britax.
