How do I break it to everyone that I don't want anyone there when I'm delivering aside from my sister and husband? I am actually having my baby at home with a hands off midwife and both my sister and I are going to school for midwifery so my sister will be the one catching the baby. Ever since I told my mom and other sister that, they have been saying how they will be there but it kind of ticks me off because at first I wanted my mom to catch the baby and she kept saying no she would be too nervous which I understand but now everyone wants to be there when I deliver her/him That's why I'm having this type of birth so that we can kind of be in peace and have an uninterrupted birth. No one was n the RM when I had my 1st because I delivered too fast so I def don't want too many people at my house while I'm rolling around on my ball half naked and in and out of the pool trying to give birth.
