Its kind of annoying that my midwife doesn't measure my baby's weight like everyone elses doctors and midwives seem to. She says its only an estimate anyway, but I would still like to have an estimate. Whenever she measures the fundal length, though, he is always right on. Just annoys me that I don't get the excitement of finding out his weight.
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

Will your Mom be in the delivery room? My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.

My OB never did either. Only at my regular ultrasounds.

@alyen2, my ultrasound techs always tell me, "if the doctor or midwife hasn't ordered it, we aren't measuring." and of course they never do.

My doctors never tell me either but when I went in for the anatomy ultrasound I asked the tech and she told me 12 oz ❤️ - idk why but my doctors have only measured my belly once and I thought they were supposed to do that at each appointment ?

My doctor never gave me a weight estimate with my last pregnancy. it didn't bother me though because I know they are often way off.
