How important is it for daddy to be at the first baby appointment?

Lol @shayla.galloway I'll probably cry too!! @momma_2_batbaby so he should go? I take that as a yes because I don't know a lot of his family history... though his mom wants to go with me If he can't so I guess I'll be covered anyway lol

lol @kasieerin okay so she might just check downstairs and do some tests for stds, yeast infection, ect. make sure if u have questions ask. then she she has to find your baby's heart beat at least that's how mine went. i cried while im being honest.

I didn't know a lot about her until I researched her

obgyn she did my mom's hysterectomy and my mom said she delivers babies too and my mom really liked her

I even set up my appointment so he could go.. he just might have to work.. if he's going to miss a lot I don't wanna be bummed because he missed it he would feel horrible!!

I asked my husband to join me to our first appt so we both knew what was going on. He loves going to all the appts because he fell in love with the ultrasounds and hearing the heart beat. He makes it to as many as he can and only missed 2 due to work. But its worth it if they do go.

well I'm 11 weeks I had to get insurance so it delayed my appointment.. anyway it's my first baby and my first appointment so I imagine she'll wanna see baby and hear heartbeat

depends which first one you mean. if you're meaning the one where they just get your information about you. not so much. if you mean the first prenatal and ultrasound...he may wanna be at the ultrasound, but may wanna sit out during the exam... my boyfriend wasn't aware he'd be watching an old man checking all my shit infront of him.

for me personally I don't care if he comes or not, I go to 99% of them alone because of his work schedule. But if it's important to you, tell him.
