I was told not to get an epidural because of the effects it can have now and later.....soooo I Don't plan on getting one. Any advice to help with the process or possible labor pain?
They offer fentanyl it's a mild pain reliever they put in your iv. I used it and it let me rest during contractions so I had the energy to push. Also makes the contractions not as intense. The nurses considered it natural lol
don't get jnduced, it is typically much more painful. also being overdue isn't what they used to think it is. so I would definitely do tons of research on all of this
I took yoga and it taught me how to focus on my breathe in uncomfortable situations . I was in early labor for five days . Towards the end of early labor when my contractions were really intense I focus on breathing and walked around . I did that for about four hours went to the hospital and I was 7 Cm . Pushing was not nearly as bad as the contractions .
yes , @gypsy.soul2 is right. Breathing through your diaphragm will allow you to assess the pain and feel more in control. No way to avoid the pain unfortunately unless you're induced
What helped me was serisouly walking thru the contractions i actually being out of bed... Idk if that made me dialate faster or what. But my whole labor lasted 5hrs start to finish😊 it was amazing and i loveed evry single bit of it! I had my daughter at 41wks 5days i had her exactly on the night i went in to be induced bt i ended up not having to be induced. Idk id i gor lucky or just blessed ohh and i only pushed for 10minz n shes my first child
