I am 28 week along with my second baby. I wanted to breastfeed exclusively with my first but she kept coming under weight, which really got me down and made me doubt myself. Then I ended up needing surgery for my gallbladder a month after she was born so she ended up switching to formula. After the surgery, once medicine was was out of my system I tried again and it just didn't work out. I felt so disappointed in myself and still do to this day. I want to actually do it exclusively this time, I guess apart of me is just afraid of not being able to do it again, or not providing enough milk for my son.
I struggled to make it to the 3 month mark with my first. with my second I went into it determined not to give up. he nursed for 23 months and 1 day, he weaned himself. being determined and positive is probably what helped me most.
That happened to me!
Now with my second I'm going almost three months strong.
thanks I will try to stay positive :) @kimberlyyyy @santistevanmommie
Go in with a positive mindset and determination!!! Make sure you put baby to breast frequently and hopefully that will help! Good luck!
Just keep breastfeeding and have confidence in yourself you can do it!
Pinterest has a ton of things to keep your milk flowing, and increase your milk supply!!! As long as you're willing to breastfeed and have great support you will be great at it! It just takes time.
