I'm so frustrated. I haven't been able to successfully breastfeed. And today while pumping nothing came out. 😢😢 This is seriously depressing me and I feel like a failure. I didn't think I'd have issues.

@simplymeanttobe, she was born early and was bottle fed at first to stabilize her blood sugar. They advised to stimulate my breasts and to help with my milk supply.
did they say why? this early on if youre establishing breastfeeding you shouldnt pump til your supply is where the baby needs it. not the pump. were you having issues in the hospital?
@simplymeanttobe, i spoke with lactation specialist in hospital and over the phone yesterday and they both advised to pump.
ok. first. you should call a lactation consultant. 2 why would you be pumping alreay dear? you should be letting baby take care of your supply. dont get discouraged. try not pumping. ☺

breastfeeding isn't always as easy as it looks. sometimes u can pump all day and not get a single drop. try calling a lactation consultant. its all about how baby latches. if u feel ur supply is low u can always try fenugreek.
try a manual pump if you have an electric one. and brewers yeast pills, steel cut oats, and blue gatorade
ah. that makes more sense. with my oldest daughter i used mothers milk. if you dont mind licorice it works pretty well.
