I am a mommy of 2. I have a 7 year old boy, and a baby girl that is a couple weeks from 1. I always wanted a big family, and I definitely did not want my kids being as far apart in age as they are. although my son adores his baby sister! I am just searching for some advice, maybe some reassurance. I want to have another baby, my son and daughter have different father's, and sometimes I worry that having more kids with my daughters father, will confuse him. How do I feel better about the situation to help him understand? my other fear, is my daughter to young for me to be pregnant? I have been going back and forth in my mind, and my poor husband has his hopes up one day that we are doing this, to me telling him I don't know, and him getting sad. I know I want more kids, I guess I'm just worried about how having 3 will be. any advice?

Kids are smarter than we think. I'm sure he won't be confused about you having another baby with your husband. Especially if your husband is like a father to him.

my momma always said if your gonna have kids have them all at once why wait... i have a 10, 6, 4 and im currently pregnant... but this is my last baby.. but i would go for it... i wish my kids would of been closer in age as well but i have always had a hard time getting pregnant. by the time baby is born hopefully your daughter is fully potty train and then thats a big lift off your shoulders.

my sons dad and I have been split up for years, but my husband and I spend a lot of time with his family. His parents pretty much took me in at 16. They consider my daughter their granddaughter as well. its a very good loving situation, my ex and I just fought a lot, due to some problems he wouldn't let go of. after all these years, my son is just starting to ask questions. His dad is a great dad, and very active in his life, he is pretty much with him more then he is with me, but I feel its because he is so smart and has a big heart and doesn't want his daddy to be alone. He has fun with my husband, they have a great relationship, and he loves his sister to death. I don't know why I am so scared. I keep going back and forth, and it makes me upset with myself. I tried to get pregnant for years after my son and kept having miscarriages due to my ex's "problem" and now I'm with a man that would be down to have 20 kids if I wanted, and I'm back peddling. I know I will be mad at myself if I don't have at least one more. is it normal to have a fear of adding another child, and worrying how you will spread your attention?

i agree with @searrahmone. i dont think that would confuse him... my daughter is from another man and my two boys are from same father and pregnant now from boys dad. my daughter knows well enough whats going on i have daily talks with her and have reminded her if she ever have questions im here to answer them in the best of my knowledge because i care what she needs to say. @jnarysmomma

mija its okay to be scared but dont let it stop you from what you want. if it a desire of your heart go for it dont let fear stop you. @jnarysmomma. you got this put your foot down and stay positive. and if this is really what you want dont rethink it... over. thinking and dwelling on ot wont help. go for it.
