ladies what can i do to go into labor im so ready to have my baby boy im 37 weeks
Medhelp, healthtap, and babygaga should all be informed too to there are 1000 of pregnancy sites that need their doctors checked real quick. Never heard of a laxative causing an infection. Yikes.
Then I should probably sue my midwife who told me to do it then huh? @theinkedbarbie glad he came out perfect I guess
@Theinkedbarbie I have never ever ever heard of a baby dying because the mother drank castrol oil. Many midwives recommend it to jump start contractions but if it isn't meant to be, the baby won't come! And you'll just have a very thorough colon cleanse! I've taken it with my first and it helped further the process and hey! I didn't poop myself at the hospital bc there wasn't any poop left!
@mgl12, rotfl girl I probably did too! I craved it like crazy with my first 😜
@ageairlove I've heard dates can help too (I think it's dates, might be plums). I will tell you from experience that you can do all this stuff and have nada happen-if your body isn't ready, this stuff won't help. Just fyi because it was so frustrating for me too.
im gonna wait & im not taking castor oil @theinkedbarbie i just wanna know what would boost the labor
Do not take castor oil unless you want to put your child and yourself at risk of major complications and/or death. Stick with healthy options some of the moms above have mentioned.
I had my first baby at 37 weeks but I fell on my butt ((not on purpose)) and went into Labor and my son was fine 7lbs 6oz
@ageairlove, I wouldn't just yet-I'd wait another week or so for baby's sake. But extra walking won't hurt anything right now. @mgl12 someone told me you'd have to eat a couple of whole pineapples to start anything-so that may be why no luck with it!
Castor oil, but only if your cervix has started thinning and stuff already. You have to take AT LEAST 2 tablespoons and it mixes best with OJ (most woman who claim it doesn't work don't use enough) and you WILL shit your back out for an hour before you go into full blown labor, lol, but bright side you will be nice and empty when you go to deliver so no worries on poopin on the doctor!
I would wait until 38 weeks at least. You're still considered early term, full term isn't until 39 weeks. I can link you the information if you'd like.
Well u just turned 37 weeks at least 38 weeks. Due dates are not accurate you could be a week behind still safety is everything!
It could cause issues if you aren't in early stages of labor. If your cervix isn't thinned or if you haven't started dilating but I will be confronting my midwife this is the third pregnancy she's been around for
