You need to go into your welfare office and get an application. Because you are married, you'll have to list your husband on your case. Medi-cal is for low income so if his income is less than their minimum, then you'll be able to get it. If his income is more than their minimum, then you will not qualify. If at any point during the time you get approved, and he starts making more money or if you get a job and add to the income, the welfare checks automatically and they will cancel it sometimes without warning.
