my first app with the nurse is information intake, urine, and blood draw. then my next one when I am 8 weeks with the doctor I will see the doc and get my first ultrasound. that is how they did it my last pregnancy. most likely your appointment with you doc they will do an ultrasound, but the person who scheduled you should have informed you if so.

The ob will usually draw & test abput 9 tubes of blood from you & every OB visit they urinen sample you.

Nuchal translucency it's like the fluid in the spine that they check for

what is a nt scan? I mean I guess I just have to know how it's gonna go with the nurse and I can ask about the doctor. I'm sure they are gonna do something with the doctor Cuz they flipped out Cuz I'm barely more than ten weeks and they want you to see the doctor at ten weeks for some reason. @mimiz

I have my first appointment tomorrow also but with my first kid the nurse appointment is only basic stuff and paper work doctor is first ultrasound and pelvic exam

You're 10 weeks it depends they can do a NT scan take blood talk about prenatals and other things like weight needed to gain or not blood pressure maybe urine that's what I did but all places are different NT scans are done between 10-14 weeks no later so maybe they can if baby isn't to wiggly lol

When I went to my first appointment with the nurse she just went over insurance information & the basics. She gave me a huge book. & When I went to see the doctor for the fist time she did a ultrasound & pelvic exam.
