I'm so over my mother in law. She texted me and said "We are worried you won't be able to take care of the baby." WTF! I can care for my child just fine and she will always have what she needs. I don't even know what to say to her.

I kind of told her off. they are very wealthy and they think because we make significantly less than them, that the baby will starve or something.

I wouldn't respond to an insult and if she asks about if I received her message later I'd tell her what you said above.
