What are your thoughts on the name Avery for a boy? I had an appointment today, and while waiting…

I think of a boy when I hear that name lol

I know a boy and a girl named Avery. I think it only sounds girly when paired with a girly middle name. if you give him a strong manly middle name he will be perfectly fine. if you like the name don't listen to others (:

I don't see anything wrong with it , I had a step brother named avery . I think it's pretty good name

I think it's girly, but it works as a boys name definitely. I only say I think it's girly because I know more girls names that, then again it's usually spelled Averie. So I think it definitely works.

Love the name, but I do think of a girl when hearing it, do you have the middle name yet?
