We wanna do the same thing but with maybe a baby or very small child. I'm super nervous to do something like that because I want a closed adoption.

Well unless you have thousands to spend on a private adoption agency, the likelihood of finding a baby is a lot slimmer :/ that's why my hubby and I decided to go the alternate route and use the foster system. It's as close to free as you can get it. I think you're also able to get a closed adoption with them. Some states foster systems even let you adopt from other states if you wanted to put space between you and the bio-family. @tater4414
