Any other moms thinking about having a hysterectomy after they have their baby? This will be my second child and I've been thinking about it. I've only ever wanted two kids.

I would never do it because things change... I could think I don't want anymore kids then years down the road completely change my mind.. but that's just my viewpoint. do what's best for you and your family.

yeah. but it also means you are on hormones because you have no ovaries, uterus, or fillopian tubes.

I feel as though there are other methods that are effective and less life changing, I'm not sure they would do a hysterectomy without a medical reason. Seems a bit drastic.
