just had my baby girl this past friday.. dr prescribed me vicodin for pain. i started breastfeeding and im concerned if the pills might have a side effect on her... any advice im a FTM... thanks in advance

You're gonna be fine, when I had my c section they gave me percocets for my pain cause I can't handle Vicodin. It doesn't mess with breast feeding or baby

They pass through the system quick. They wouldn't give you something that would be bad for baby.

Someone told me that it'll just out the baby to sleep

I took vicodin right after my son was born for the pain and I breastfed. the doctor said it was okay
