so wonderful Madigan Army Medical Center decided that they won't admit you to labor and delivery until you are 6cm dilated....if you are in pain but not dilated enough they will send you home to progress and not just admit you cause you are in pain and need a epidural....I'm really scared that what if I get send home and I dilate super quick and end up having her at home? my husband wasn't there and wasn't happy that they have that policy. wonder if having tricare we can go to a diffrent hospital...

Ok maybe I read that wrong lol but it's crazy I was dialated to a 5 for about a month and if your not in active labor they will send you home

this was at one of my prenatal classes I go to. since it's in a group setting I have no idea if I will be dilated at all when it comes close to my due date. I just don't want to give birth at home is my one worry

that is about a 45 minute drive fro. where I live I'd be to scared to give birth in the car. I heard st Joseph and tacoma general are good places to have babies....but now I'm thinking how much of a pain it be to now switch Dr's and hospitals. we only go to madigan because we don't pay anything
