omg so I'm super stressed out. found out some awful news. my husband is army, so we've known we would be moving eventually, but hubby got orders today for KOREA.... he can go alone for a year, or he can bring us with him and we would be there for 3 years!! that's 3 years away from our families. that stresses me out, I've been crying all afternoon :'( we don't know what we are doing yet.. need advice, and lots of prayers

These decisions are so tough. My husband is Air Force I haven't had to deal wit anything like this yet but many of my friends have and I know how hard it Can be. In the end you'll know what decision you need to make and it will be the right one. I wish you luck and I'll pray everything works out the way that's best for you and your family

he would be gone by October. same if we went. I don't like the thought of being away from my hubby that long, our son would be 10 months old at that time

My dad was stationed in Korea for a year, while my mom and my oldest sister stayed in the states. My mom said it is quite possibly the loneliest and worst year she has had. She cried herself to sleep. Granted, things are different and we have cellphones now, but being away can be tough. Whereas being away from family can bring you both together. Good luck. You guys gotta do what's best for you. Don't let it stress ya.

how soon would he or would you all have to leave? I've heard good things from friends who got stationed in Korea. But I know everyone's experience is different.

I know it will be tough to be away from family, but you will see them again! It'll be good experience to see the world! You'll have easy access to travel to other countries too if you wish! I know the help of family will be missed too, but I feel like it may be harder for you if hubby goes without you.
