i was on metformin on and off with one ob dr for my polycystic ovaries and they said metformin would help me get pregnabt if i stayed on it i stopped taking it and two months after i got pregnant i believe the metformin kept me from getting prego

@mart1122, my sister in law was having trouble conceiving and in her mid 30's and diabetic her doctor gave her metformin and said it would help and it did she is now on her 3rd baby lol guess it works differently on everyone 😊

@melinadiaz, I'm gestational diabetic , when I found out when I was pregnant I was 10weeks and due to me having diabetes with my kids before they quickly put me on insulin right away .. To be honest with you , you can't get mad or angry because it's the best for you and the baby trust me I know . December 13 2014 my son was stillborn because of diabetes because I was mad they put me on insulin again but when the told me the cause of death I was like omg I never thought it could take a toll on a baby. Now with my rainbow baby I'm super cautious I'm 23weeks pregnant and my sugars have been in the 80s - 90s .. Take care of yourself girl ..

I have gestational diabetes... so you're not alone. it's hard but do it for the sake of your child.
