I don't get how some women can have sex before their 6 weeks are up. I'm 7 weeks pp and nothing makes it not hurt.

I did at 5w 5d pp and it was uncomfortable but didn't really hurt, but the next day when I tried again it hurt like hell. I had an episiotomy.

I think the fact that I know it's going to hurt kind of makes me tense up.

yeah i tried 6 weeks pp i had minor tearing just a figure 8 stich towards perineal and barely tore towards labia not even worth a stich and it still was quite uncomfortable something about still got a brusie that eventually will go away or something but yeah my husband wants to again but im really not for it just lil to uncomfortable for me

Same! I didn't even have any tearing or anything but im just really sore not trying anytime soon

That sounds terrible. I would wait. I didn't try again until recently and my son is 5 months old! It wasn't nearly as bad.

@bryaxtonsmommy, I tore in an odd place. I tore my inner labia but that part is completely healed. TMI but it's like it's wayyy too tight.

We tried 6 weeks pp. I had a second degree episiotomy and 4th degree tears and it was more like loosing my virginity. Uncomfortable but not terrible. The next day however, I wish I had never even tried! If I could go back I would wait!

My ob said use tons of lube.

Did you have a CC?

I tried 2 weeks PP it hurt but it went away after awhile tho
