Im really worried right now

I woke up this morning and i thought it was pee coming out so i rushed to the bathroom and peed but i dont know what told me to do it but i grabbed some toilet paper and i wiped my underwear where the "pee" was supposed to be and it wasnt pee it was blood. Then i looked in the toilet and it was red and there a big piece of a blood clot too. I have called my clinic and i am waiting on my mother in law to come here so i can go to the hospital. Keep me in your prayers please. I dont have any problems with miscarriages and the nurse it could be something normal but it never happened to me before and im worried
