So in love with this princess👑. I had so many people come visit today at the hospital😒 I haven't been able to sleep much but I'm healing from the c-section which hurts sooo bad😢 but I'm proud to say baby has not had NO FORMULA, bottle, or even a pacifier!!! The dr. And nurses are shocked of how fast she latched on and my milk hasn't even come in yet. I'm 1 happy & proud momma because I was not able to breastfeed with my 1st daughter. I can't wait for her to have actual milk & not just colostrum. She is such a good baby! I'm blessed🙏🏼🎀
lol, yes I had to take the pain meds too I also brestfed and she is healthy so don't worry. I'm so happy for you the pain will ease up soon, is the babys bassinet in the hospital on wheels if so hold onto it and walk the hall of the hospital the more you get up and move the pain will lessen I remember in the morning after not moving much during the night my incision hurt so bad especially on the ends. to make matters worse for me the nurse in the or was sick with a cold and of course we caught it talk about pain whenever I sneezed and coughed, omg !!!!! they had to go on the heart floor and get me a heart surgery pillow to push on my tummy whenever I sneezed or coughed it also helps if you laugh to push a pillow onto your tummy I hated when people made me laugh that first week or two. it hurt so bad, good news is this too shall pass soon hang in there momma. enjoy that baby
@mommycarden, thank you my love! Omg I can't bend even if I wanted to. As days go by the cut hurts worse not less and I hate that I have to take pain killers (while strictly breastfeeding only) or I wouldn't be able to even get up and pee😢 but they giving me the dosage that is safe for her to have. And last night was pretty rough but since she is only on Boobie they want me to give it to her every 2 hours so between that and her getting so used to only Boobie I barely slept but I'm happy. I wouldn't want it any other way. Especially because with my first she would not latch on at all. So I'm truly content and it doesn't bother me at all about not sleeping much. I usually don't anyways preggo or not I'm a light sleeper lol
I was thinking about you this morning and hoping you were doing well. your princess is absolutely beautiful. I had 2 c sections with my other kids and my best advice is to not lift anything and try to not bend a lot. take it as easy as possible to heal more quickly. that's so awesome about the breastfeeding. I'm so happy for you. how is baby sleeping?
@mytrio, first night went easier than tonight. But I'm still at the hospital and my milk hasn't come in yet. I definitely need sleep☹️
@babygir2015, did she remain on breast only? did that help your supply come in faster?
well you give me hope. had trouble breast feeding the first ended up with mastitis. So hopefully this time around I shouldn't have much issue. but have my pump ready just in case. she's beautiful and I love her hat! get some rest.
awesome after my daughter was born she feed on breast for 40 minutes on her first time
@snb1121, hubby kicks them out of the room👍🏼 lol they mostly his family anyways but they all understand I'm not about to whip my Boobie out in front of his family🙈🙅🏼 lol
@abella1023, how are you doing with all the visitors? You've gotta be exhausted..
@abella1023 no problem so happy everything went well for you! great job! 🙌
@queeneden, thank you😊 I'm doing it like every 2 hours on schedule but if I'm holding her and she opens her mouth yes I do try to put her on to my nipple. I'm hoping it comes in soon! I keep checking but so far only colostrum but she was just born on Sunday night so I'm trying my best to be patient. I'm just happy she has not had formula at all.☺️
@mommycarden, sorry so late! Omg everything you said was so true I never though of all this until now! Yes coughing sneezing laughing ugh it hurts! & the nurse told me the same to put a pillow when that happens. I have been walking around with the baby in the bassinet to help heal faster also they told me it's good that way I don't get blood clots in my legs from the surgery. It's a process as the days go by the pain gets worse from the incision not better😞 but she is still fully nursing so I'm a tough Cooke! I'll be ok. Lol I'll be going home tomorrow 😊 for now I like that me and baby are getting checked on regularly thank you for your words😇
