thank you I'm going to try this @charleerose . I never thought before I moved in with him I would see all these true colors he never showed. he is a great guy with aweful habits. I really appreciate your advice , means a lot and I think this will work to my advantage

if he says something about how it's messed up that you keep doing it to him tell him how you feel about what he does to you to make you feel bad. it's a 2-way street

@abbyfaye4, try the silent treatment. as in if he asks you to do stuff but has been an ass through out the day just say no and walk away don't let him convince you or freak out on you. kinda like a giving up type of thing but not giving up really just giving him a reality check. I still do that to this day.

he did it for us both. we are a family and he realized it's hurting our relationship and Charlee's future by drinking all the time. he still had an issue with spending money on Amazon.com 😂 but that's something I can deal with. to tag people you '@' them as in @ Charleerose but not space between the @ and first letter

so I'm going to pray about this, I'm glad you can relate, so did the baby change this or did he just realize how much he was hurting you and stop seems like the more I say something the worse it gets, if things don't change I will do this on my own for my sons I have done this before. charleerose I don't know how to tag lol

I would never say that to my daughter but it smacked him a bit with reality that his daughter won't have stuff because he's buying beer all the time

@abbyfaye4, omg I went through the same shit with my boyfriend/baby's father... I used to loose my shit because he would be at the bar drinking almost every night. that's a total waste of money. eventually he started only doing it on the weekends but would go out all weekend spend a couple hundred dollars and come home.. now its random times he drinks and its only one beer sometimes 2 if we are at an event. he's been so much better about it. In my experience it changed because I would point out how much he's spending and how Charlee will have to be told she can't have or do something because daddy went out drinking..

it's beer but I feel like when the baby comes this habit is going to stay, I don't need this around a newborn he swears he won't do it when he's born but I don't believe him cause this habit keeps getting worse .
