I failed my 1 hr due to cough medicine, I had a really bad cough and couldn't do any type of movement without coughing to the point of puking -- Wasn't aware cough medicine had sugar. 😂😂😂

@inkedmomma, yeah I ate right before mine, like 4 pieces of peanut butter toast lol

My husband also told me to eat before the one hour test so they think that may had something to do with me failing.

@inkedmomma, she told me my levels were only a little higher than normal so they wanted me to do the 3 hour. I'm glad to hear you guys passed it makes me feel better!

I failed my first test by a lot, and was told absolutely nothing after midnight for the three hour test. I passed the first two out of the four so I got done early[:

I passed mine but I didn't fast, literally ate strawberry yogurt an hour before taking the test lol

just don't eat or drink anything that breaks down into sugar.... so meats, cheese, water, unsweetened tea should be OK.

Oh, gotcha! I was gonna say usually they tell you. But with both of my 3 hour test I had my appointments at 8 in the morning, and was told nothing after midnight, so that's what I did.

I was told that they no longer require you to fast my paper says I can eat and drink like normal except after I drink the juice stuff it says not to eat after drinking it.

I just took mine today I hope I pass!!!

@their.bomb.ass.mom, I knew I had to fast she just didn't tell me how long. my appointment is at 9 in the morning so I was gonna stop eating after 9 tonight

I passed mine.. I was just told nothing after midnight as well

if your doctor didn't tell you to fast, that's weird, usually they make a point to tell you if you need to. I was told nothing after midnight the night before, and nothing until after your appointment.
