I need some help mommas!! I'm a FTM and I'm due anytime but I was wondering what size of diapers do newborns use? I got 4 big boxes of size 1 when I had my babyshower and i was wondering If i even need to buy a different size or if I'm fine? I know it's a stupid question but I'm a first time mom and need just a little help here. Thank you mommas☺️

my son was in nb diapers for about three weeks. we bought a small box and about to small bags of newborn diapers, then we bought a big box of size one diapers and he out grew them just as we were about done with the box. but every baby is different! you'll start to notice if they looking small or if you have to get a bigger size
they gave me quite a few when we left, you can always ask for a few more also they're usually pretty nice about it and give you plenty.

@soontobemomof5, yes that's what I was wondering I don't want to buy alot so later on he won't use them and just waste money but we'll see I'll just end up getting a little nb bag to be on the safe size not a big one just incase it won't fit him
The hospital will give you some to take home as well so that way when you do know how big your baby is you'll know what size you need and you can have a family member pick them up or your SO can grab them.
It depends on how big your baby is born but I would at least grab a bag or box of the newborn size just to be on the safe side. My kids were born 7-8 lbs and were in that size for the first couple of weeks.
You can use newborn diapers if you want but they out grow them quick so I would just use the size 1's you have. I'm skipping nb diapers with my daughter and going to just use size 1's. They are in them longer
