I had my first appointment, just answering questions doing blood work and family histories stuff like that. Now because my cycles were always irregular I have to have a dating ultrasound. I should be about eleven weeks at the time (hopefully) when it's done. Has anyone else had one at about that time? What could you see? Can they tell if it's twins? Was it an internal or external ultrasound?

I think they should definitely be able to tell you if you're having twins at 11 weeks

Oh okay awesome, I'm new to all of this so I wasn't sure if everything would be too tiny for them to tell :-)

i had an emergency utlra sound at 12 weeks. ( started bleeding and er said miscarrying due to placenta tear. healed after bed rest now at 23 weeks!) and it was an external ultrasound. kinda low inbetween my hips, but we could see baby just fine. little thing but complete wiggle worm. (: good luck on seeing you little one!

Thank you! I'm so excited, I think it'll make it even more real when we get to see the baby instead of waiting till 20 weeks especially for my boyfriend :-D
