Has any already mums gone through there labour's on just gas and air? And how was it for them? I know we all have our own pain tolerances but I'd like to try get this baby out with the least pain relief I can take, wishful thinking it might be as I really have no clue about this pain that's coming. Experiences from mummy's would be much grateful. X

I did it both times with just gas and air and one of my babies was 8lb 5oz! I loved gas and air, it never interested me having anything else but I think if you need something stronger then you know yourself best 😃xx

Thanks guys. @t446 I'm glad you said they started off mild then got gradually worse. I was under the impression with a normal birth that's how it was rather than full blown pain by getting induced with no chance to work its way up. I can do this shit haha he's worth it. @zaralee71 @winterbaby95 😲 xxx

@suzie31 I've heard different stories from women being induced. Some say its the same pain as going into labour by yourself. But others say it is more painful because your body has been forced into it....therefore it could make contractions come stronger and faster. Overall...I think it just depends on your pain tolerance...I would say no matter how you go into labour...it is bound to be painful either way. Just think about period pain...it is basically exactly the same thing...the uterus is contracting Xx

It will be incredibly painful either way so I don't think being induced will make much difference hun xx

Thanks ladies x gas and air is as far as I want to go. I'm being induced so will this make a difference in the intensity of the pain or could I still manage okay? I feel I'm quite a stubborn person haha don't tend to give in easily. I just keep telling myself it's inevitable it's going to be incredibly painful but there will be a end to it and I do have quite a high pain tolerance. Xx @t446 @zaralee71 @ciara25 @winterbaby95

I went through my first only on gas and air. It was a very quick labour and was very intense so pain relief wasn't really on my mind. I had gas and air and pethadene with my second but I didn't feel like the pethedene did anything. Not sure what I will go for this time, I won't be choosing epidural though xx

Would definately not recommend epidural it just prolongs it & you cant even walk about after u give birth or get a bath etc x

I did it both times with gas & air if i can anyone can lol. They had to give me the pethadene to calm me down with my first i was having panic attacks when it came to pushing lol was raging at myself though after. Every labour is different so dont rule pain relief out but ul be so proud doing it with gas & air x

Well I have a friend that did it on just gas and air :) Gave birth to a 8lb+ baby :) I'm planning to do it on gas and air too. I'm having a water birth..and will be in a birthcentre so won't be allowed an epidural even if I wanted it. xx
