hello ladies, I am new to this app. but anyway I was just wondering if it is normal for a 6 month old baby to not crawl or eat baby food. my daughter turned 6 months on the 8th of this month and she hates eating baby food and she hates being on her tummy so she hasn't started crawling yet.

Baby Food What is or was your baby eating at 9 months?
Ok so my soon to be 7 month old eats 12oz of baby food a day and she still drinks 3 to 4 8oz bottles. Am I doing something wrong?!?!?
Is it necessary to start baby food at 6 months? I mean I know it's to get the baby used to solid food, but is that it? Have any of you waited? If so, when did you introduce it?
🤦🏽 ♀ you should not be giving your child baby food before 6 months old definitely not at 2months☹

my son hated baby food, he would eat sweet potatoes but that's it.
I wouldn't worry about either thing but I would try to encourage her to do both. my son didn't sit up till he was 9 months. babies do things differently

@lindapagan8, my son is the same way I encourage baby food and regular food but he likes neither and hates being on his stomach also. I was reading on a blog with other mothers that said their babies didn't like food till 9 months and older.

ok thank you I was just worried because I have a friend that had her daughter 2 weeks after me and her daughter crawls and is already trying to stand up and she eats baby food, I'm just like what's going on with my baby! @blanca_boo @chhaya

@lindapagan8, I totally understand how you're feeling I'm the same way. Especially seeing all these pictures of babies picking themselves up moving around doesn't help.

my daughter is 7 months and is still not crawling she scoots but does not crawl. I would not be to worried about it. I would keep trying tho
