Here's a little summary of my water birth, for some of you who wanna know some war stories of one who's gone through it.
This was honestly one of the toughest things iHad to do. It all came down to three hours of labor. Three hours of intense contractions. Minutes of pushing. Moments of pleading with her to hurry &Come; out, wanting to just give up. Just seconds away from holding her into my arms. That moment of relief once she was out. When they pulled her into my arms. iCouldn't hold my tears, &My; sobs. Once iHeard her cry iJust let it all out. iFinally had her, after 41 weeks & 5 days she was finally with us.
Many people had advised for me to see an actual Doctor, but this is what iWanted. I'm so glad a did a water birth, it wasn't what iExpected, then again iDidnt know what to expect. iFelt every contraction, due to no pain medication. An all natural birth isn't as painful as everyone portrays it to be. iHad to much support from the mid-wife's, my mom, my dad, my daughter &Fianc;é. They never left my side. My other daughter just wanted me okay, my mom kept me comfort, &Fianc;é was just amazing. He made sure the pain iFelt, iDidnt feel alone. He pushed me when iFelt iCouldnt do it anymore. Once they broke my water things really did speed up. The pain intensely, the wait was more than iCan handle. Taking showers on &Off; to help with the pain. Then all of a sudden the feeling of having to push caught me off guard. &Boy; did iGet aggrieved. To the tub we went to push &In; a blink of an eye it was over. Sitting in the tub waiting to push out the placenta was a breeze. The healing process was so much better than what iHad experienced with my first. iWas walking &Moving; around the next day with almost ease. iHad a heathy baby &A great experience. There's so much more to be said about it, but for now this is all I'll say.
Reading this made my heart really happy. Thank you so much for sharing your experience!
@frozenessence, it's understandable. But at least you have him in your arms
I'm high risk :( I have diabetes. and during my fetal echo, caleb was found to have 3 heart defects, so they had to have him monitored and flown to children's hospital immediately....I'm still upset even though it's been 7 months :( @setsailann
this made me cry, congratulations 😍
