I'm gonna vent...so my sister in law is cold to her kids the woman sees her kids 2 times week and the first thing she does is yell at her kids for any little thing like toys on the floor or it being a little messy she dosent even hug them or kiss them ....the poor 12 year old is starved of affection and love that she started crying when I huged her...so this woman seas how I'm all kissing and hugging my child when she tells me...you should not be like that with her, you should let her cry(my baby was not even crying we were just playin) and get this she tells me I should prepaid my baby for the cold world...MY BABY IS ONLY 4 MONTHS OLD...I should not prepaid her for this b.s....I will prepare her eventually by talking to her but it is important that my baby know I love her and she can come to me in this cold world...I can kiss and hug her all I want..I don't want my baby to feel like her 12 year old like she can't go to her mother for advise cause she's afraid of her mother yelling....you think you are making your child strong by not showing them any affection...In not gonna be like you my baby will know how Much I love her no matter what...my sister in law already have 3 teens whom want pattention...don't be telling me how to raise my baby

You're fine sweetie, no worries about the errors lol...I completely agree, people say don't "spoil" your child by giving too much affection but in reality it's scientifically impossible to spoil a baby, they do not understand the concept! A child raised with love and care is a child that will actually be MORE adjusted later on in life, because they know they have the love and support and that they have the ability to make it better and be happy, whereas a child starved of love and attention will always be attention seekers, they will act out more, and they will have anxiety issues and believe they are alone in the world and no one can help them...which is really sad, I hope those kids get the love they need elsewhere 😢
