We're your BH Contractions ever painful like period cramps? I have an OB appointment tomorrow and I plan on mentioning this. I've been having these 'contractions' on and off since last night but they get more painful at night. they aren't consistent so I know they are BH but I'm curious to when I should call if needed?
it also could be dehydration so don't stress or worry too much :) that's what they're probably going to check first anyways.
@ilyric, thank you! I started doing that. so far, they keep coming back. @rainbow_mommys2021 I packed. a bag to take with me tomorrow just I'm case I have to stay. I'm only 30 weeks, so I'm really nervous. hopefully they can figure something out.
I'm 34 weeks and they kept me and observed me for almost 15 hours before they could finally stop the contractions and they first gave me an iv of fluids and that didn't stop them so they gave me a blue pill to try an stop them and some morphine and it didn't help neither and then they gave me an orange pill and that finally made them stop after 2 doses and then at 7 am the contractions finally stopped.
Try not to last on your back, rest on your left side, use a heating pad and make sure to stay hydrated! :)
I've been having the same exact issue but don't know what to do. Idk why it's worse at night! I also have an appointment tomorrow morning and was just going to tell my doctor about it and see what he thinks
@rainbow_mommys2021, what did they do? I have an appointment first thing in the morning. how far along are you?
I was having that same pain earlier this week, and I ended up finally going in to see and they were actual contractions. I just thought they were cramps but I was wrong. they were pretty consistent too so just letting you know.
Ladies BH do not cause pain! They are practice contractions ! If you are having pain while contracting they are true contractions and yes you can have spontaneous contractions that go away with rest and hydration but if they last longer than a half an hour it's always best to go get checked out !
Having some pretty intense constant lower back pain and maybe super light contractions. But can't tell because the back pain is way over powering contractions so I'm walking around my room to see if they get worse.
I have a low tolerance of pain so I’m screwed either way 😂 but I am going to get through a natural birth no matter what!
Quick question: Are the contractions or pushing the most painful?
I’ve felt contractions with my first and omg. But I didn’t experience the pushing. He was way to tiny.
I do love the way people say you will know when your in labour and having contractions well I will be honest I didn't know and my pains weren't that severe till I was fully dilated I'm sure everyone has different pain levels
I keep getting BH contractions back to back
They will keep coming back, it's your body practicing for the big day.
