I have a major problem. My 2 year old daughter is terrified of..(get ready for this)....bubbles. :( every time I bathe her I don't put bubble bath in, I try to keep soap from hitting the water but when the water from the faucet hits the water in the tub it automatically makes little bubbles & for some reason it scares the shit out of her. She froze & started screaming because there was 1 small bubble next to her. I've tried playing with them to show her they are not scary, I've tried being careful about getting soap or shampoo in the water. Idk what to do???

it may just be something she will grow out of...or just gave a natural phobia of..

Maybe buy some bubbles ( the kind you blow ) and blow them and get her use to them show her they are fun and they arent just tryna get her in the bath tub help her fear

Thanks you all :( I hope she grows out of it. She claims to be afraid of a lot of things like light bulb, chairs, certain toys I know she likes, but I've been able to calm her on everything except bubbles.

did she see any cartoons about bubble or bubble monsters? kids pick up on these things and learn

when she says she is scared tell her "no you are not, you are a brave big girl while smiling and taking her attention away of touching the item in a silly way to let her see that theres no harm. . ." and things like that. my daughter was also doing the scared of random things and now she stopped because i let her know she doednt need to be scared. if u make a big deal about it and give her attention she will hold on to it.

As far as I know she hasn't seen anything about bubbles in a scary or bad way she mostly watches Doc Mcstuffins, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Minnie's Boutique, & Sofia the first. I'll try because I feel so bad for her :( I don't want my little girl being afraid of everything.
