Walking blocks & malls when I hit 36 weeks 😅 i rather walk her out than have to get induced 🤦🏾♀️ so hopefully I can get her out before my induction date 👏🏾
@prestonjeanetta0120, I really don’t have a choice she’s small & has IUGR
@tianadavis216, my son was born at 39 weeks weighing only 5 pounds and was completely healthy I wouldn’t allow them to take her out sooner and I’m glad that I didn’t cause he would have been much smaller . He came out 5 pounds breathing and eating on his own with zero problems so sometimes you have to listen to yourself versus doctors . I told them no because it wasn’t a life and death and I’m glad I did because instead of him being early and staying in the hospital longer I waited and even though he was small his lungs were great and he came home when I came home
When it you Reach 36weeks, try rolling your hips on a yoga ball as well, it will help your hips open and might help her move down a little. So that way even if you do make it to your induction date, it will help things go a little smoother. Squats help too.
@alyboo102293, THANK YOU FOR EXPLAINING IT EXACTLY TO THE “T” , thank you hun 😊 & im praying for you & baby’s safe delivery
Measuring can definitely be off so don’t stress let the baby cook longer hun and to be honest even if you have the baby at 39 weeks being induced you could possibly still end with having a c section I’m
Speaking from experience not saying that would happen to you everyone is different with being induced ..
@mommychina_, her baby has IUGR(babies that fall under the 10%)which means her baby is small 8th percentile at 34 like my son I’m currently pregnant with is dangerous because the placenta can start calcifying and she could be in a extremely dangerous place as her placenta isn’t doing what it should be doing in the first place same with my son, so her walking baby out is typically better then a induction but in this case making it to 38 weeks is a great accomplishment with IUGR babies. @tianadavis216, I hope everything goes smooth & you can walk baby right on out of there, I made it to 38 weeks I’m sure you will sounds like she’s hanging in there , although it’s scary once’s she’s here no matter how she gets here it’ll be worth it 🙏🏽 praying for you.
Continue with the nst and ultrasounds. Let them continue to monitor baby and the placenta. If they thought the placenta was dead or dying, they wouldn't be waiting to induce. I wouldn't try to self induce either.
I'm not being harsh or stink about it. I had to be induced with both of my boys because of my placenta dying. My first was a month early, they weren't waiting longer because he wasn't getting nutrients or oxygen. With my second, they waited because he was growing still, slowly, but he was still gaining. They induced when he stopped and they could see the placenta dead by that point.
@mommychina_, yeah they said my son was around 8lbs at 38 weeks. He was born at 40+6 at 6lbs 9oz
@mommychina_, my last measured 8.12 or something like that at 36 weeks ... I had him at 37.6 and he was 7.5 😒 I hate how they scare people!
@tipsymermaid, Thank you!!!!! My 7lbs 14.2 oz baby was measured the day before I gave birth at 8lbs 10oz ... now if that isn’t WAY off I don’t know what is.
@tianadavis216, i honestly would do what @laniejay, said.
@tipsymermaid, I agree , the ultrasound tech told me that the machine isn’t 100% accurate. We won’t know the real weight until she’s actually born
Their measurements can be off too. If she’s doing ok & growing, which she is if she gained 2 lbs in 2 weeks, then I wouldn’t go with induction.
@damn.it.red, yeah I think she’s gonna just be small , I was only 4 pounds & 10 ounces
@jleona, she’s growing she’s just small she should be 5 something almost 6 pounds she’s 4 pounds 2oz
@tipsymermaid, she’s not in danger at all just a little on the small side
@tianadavis216, so she’s growing. Personally, as long as she’s doing ok and growing I’d just request continued monitoring. Then if they find she has stopped or is not doing well- induce then.
@laniejay, she’s gaining slowly like I’m 34 weeks she would be 5 something almost 6 pounds , she’s 4 pounds 2oz
@sandryane0317, that’s what I’m saying if it’s best that she comes out than I want her out , I don’t want her to stay in if she’s not getting the proper nutrients all the way
@laniejay, I wish I hadn’t of been induced with my oldest. Ugh so young and dumb.
@tianadavis216, she may just be a small baby.
@damn.it.red, well that’s a bit of a different scenario with your second. I have precipitous labors so we feared I wouldn’t make it in time to the hospital... so we mapped out all the hospitals on the route to our choice one. 😬
@tianadavis216, so she’s gained 2 pounds ish.
@mommychina_, she’s growing but I’m 34 weeks she should be 5 almost 6 pounds . I have NST twice a week & Doppler’s once a week
@damn.it.red, at 32 weeks she was 2 pounds 14oz in the 5% tile , now she’s 4 pounds 2oz in the 8% tile . They were say something about the placenta could detach & then she wouldn’t get nutrients so they want to induce me at 38 weeks , it’s hard to explain
@sandryane0317, I am not being harsh and I was not talking to you!
@laniejay, i was induced with both of the girls. With my oldest I was young and dumb. With my youngest I was right at 40 weeks and the hospital was too far away for me to make it if I went into labor. Due to her birth defect we needed to be there because of the nicu
@tianadavis216 my oldest was going to be delivered around 25 weeks because he stopped growing (or so they thought) he was stuck at like 2 pounds, 2 ounces for weeks. But he finally put on some weight and came on his own at 37 weeks. He was 4lbs 13oz at birth. Is the baby not growing? Or just small?
@mommychina_ y are u being so harsh obviously it's what the doctor is doing with her induction not by her choice atleast she is trying to prepare her body for whatever to come. Things happen and we all are not doctors just speaking from experience
That’s strange that they would want to induce just because she’s small. It’d make more sense to let her stay in as long as possible and grow more. Unless she’s in danger, I wouldn’t get induced.
@tianadavis216, don’t start at 36 weeks. And some babies are just small, is she not gaining at all? Or just slowly? They tried to induce me saying my baby was big huge... I refused and he was 7.5
@tianadavis216 yes when I go next week it's going to be the same thing it's safer for her to come out now being induced by 38 I had my first that way he was only 4 lbs scheduled an induction but he came at 36 on his own he wasn't getting any nutrients which isn't safe being in there then to come out
@tianadavis216, is she growing? That’s all that matters...that should only be done when baby isn’t thriving at all in your womb. They should be monitoring baby weekly by ultrasound it’s something called a BPP ultrasound mention that and maybe even doing NST. Think about it let’s bring a too small baby out into the world.. does it really make sense?
I’m telling you this because you automatically will go with doctors but is it really logically unless she isn’t thriving AT all?
@tianadavis216, it’s your choice. Most drs want to induce because of convenience. Unless there is something life threatening going on with you or your unborn child I wouldn’t induce.
@damn.it.red, I don’t want to be induced because I heard it makes things harder. I’m trying to be nice & let the doctors do what they need to do because she’s my first baby & I don’t want anything to go wrong but geesh
@mommychina_, getting induced at 38 weeks because she’s small she’s only in the 8th percent tile
@tianadavis216, medical reason?
Speaking from experience not judgement getting induced too soon puts you that much more at risk for a C Section because the baby really don’t even be ready.
@mommychina_, it’s getting scheduled Monday but in that case I want her to come before they induce me. I’m getting induced for a reason .
Let that baby come when she’s ready. You shouldn’t even have an induction date set already honestly.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
@tianadavis216, if she really has to come out early than I hope she does on her own how you want her too !! If she’s already 4 pounds and your having her at 38 weeks she should be born 5/6 pounds . My daughter was 4 pounds at 32 weeks and came out 6 pounds at when they took her out at 39 . Are they going to take her out regardless of her weight at 38 weeks ? Because what if by then she’s like 5/6 pounds ? Or you don’t know yet
