A lot of people have questioned my shopping habits since we began this journey. We are putting together our nursery a bit slower than expected. What they don't take into account is, we don't have lavish shopping habits in the first place! We get what we need, a fair part of what we want, and we are happiest that way. Having a credible bank balance means more to us than having the oohs and aahs of our people, basically. We will eventually be sending 6 kids into the world, either for college, trade school, or continuing our family businesses. Furthermore, we have not settled into the home we OWN, and I think it looks insane to have extravagant amounts of things in a house we are only renting. When we close on our home (in two weeks or less) THEN we will do our thing. But even then we'll do as we do, quality over quantity.
