My son started baby foods early and we had to sit there and give him most of his bottle before foods or he didn't want it. You might want to try a sippy cup tho or giving her something to distract her while she drinks the bottle. Sounds silly but you can mix just a taste of juice (simple 100% juice) with formula to make it taste better.

She stays pretty full on baby food but she won't ever take a bottle except for at night or morning. I've been giving her 2-4 before baby food and sometimes she eats some and other times she refuses.

@jboogie, I'm calling her doctor tomorrow to ask about it. I was told to try giving it to her in a sippy and see if she takes it so I'm gonna try that tonight before I call tomorrow

Oh ok, as long as your pediatrician don't see a problem then it's probably ok. I would talk to my pediatrician about the baby refusing her milk.

@aneely13, because she's refusing her formula? Why else? I offer her a bottle before I feed her baby food and she barely drinks 2 ounces if I'm lucky.@jboogie

Why are you wanting her to have juice? Her main source of food should still me milk/formula. Juice has a lot of sugar in it and unless it's recommend by a doctor I wouldn't do it.

I just gave water and juice room temperature. Not until 6 months then only an ounce per month. I also give her formula before I feed her baby food to make sure she drinks her milk. The nutrients in breast milk and formula are important for them to have.

Babies should not have water until they are a year old!
