So, people keep telling me to take childbirth/newborn/breastfeeding classes, but they are expensive and not covered by my insurance. Do I really need to take them? Opinions on which ones are most important for a first timer?? I am so lost right now...

When you call if they say they don't have them ask them if they know some one in your area . Or can refer you and def try babies r us again bc they may not offer all the classes but def some for free

@qlisa25, that's why I don't want to waste the money. I'm high risk, and have a heavy 70% chance of cs. Everyone I have spoken to has a different opinion. All so confusing lol

Babies r us has them for free too and so does your local women's pregnancy center

Didn't help me at all. I had a CS and they show u how to breastfeed at the hospital w your baby. Once the baby comes it's all so different than those classes anyhow.
