does anyone else have a little abdominal pain after peeing? It starts when I'm almost done and lasts a few minutes
Maybe! I'm a FTM too but try not to worry too much as women all over the world have less doctor visits than we do and still birth healthy babies. I think too much easily accessible info makes us worry here in the states. Just drink a ton of water over the next few days and see if it goes away. :-)
@rgaine, I noticed it right after my last appointment and my doctor said everything looked good. His office screens for UTIs so I know it can't be that. I can believe I might be dehydrated and that's what is causing it. But as a first time mom I'm probably just getting nervous over something normal
I noticed you mentioned dehydration- doc said I was dehydrated this week (and protein in my urine) and it started this week after that appointment. May be connected.
Next appointment is in Feb. :-/ I'm not too worried as I grew up with Utis/kidney infections and I know them early on when I feel them- and this is not one that I'm feeling. Has to just be a weird stretching thing.
I go back to my doctor on the second, I'm going to ask about it. It's just kind of weird feeling @marie_xo @rgaine do either of you have an appointment sooner?
I really feel like it isn't a UTI, I don't have fever, not burning sensation while peeing, not going pee more often. it's like the lower half of my belly tightens up as I'm about to finish peeing and stays tighten for a minute or so afterwards. @mgurmen4495 I was thinking maybe I could need more water, possibly getting dehydrated @jlove1234561
uti's show up in different ways. I had a uti where I was in no pain after or during urinating but it gave me a fever of 103.2.
yes I have an appointment the 22nd, I'll try to remember to ask @dawsonsmomma2016 because it doesn't happen to me often
