its perfectly fine to get some pain medication. I had an epidural with my first. it was a huge relief & then I actually enjoyed the rest of my labor. if you can't take the pain ask for pain meds thru an iv or the epidural :)

I did and I delivered so fast I didn't have pain.. I had an epidural with my son so having my daughter natural and actually knowing when to push and my body telling me what to do was much nicer

I'm trying to last as long as I can without pain med. but its not working

yes. its extremely painful. but as soon as baby is out all the pain goes away. that us until you feel your uterus contract back to its normal size. basically small but painful contractions for a fee days after birth
