Is it childish to be upset when someone steals your daughters name for their own? I thought for 6 months about my daughters name. Never heard anyone else by this name . I made the mistake of posting it thinking nobody would steal this name. Next time I get online this chick on my facebook had the same name. Ember Leigh ..opinions?

yes I'm a single mom and yes my daughter is going to have my last name I refuse to give my daughter the name of a BOY who doesnt want to take care of his responsibilities! ....problem ?
So I made the post not to long ago about not having rights to the name blah blah blah well my cousin made a list of baby names for girls and guess what there it is again last one on the list!!! && she knew from being pregnant with my 2nd how bad I wanted that name if I had a girl!! lord if she ends up naming her daughter the name I wanted I’m still going name my daughter that too just different spelling!! I’ll be that person idc 🤣 like come up with your own unique names not take mine
So I wanted to name my daughter Serenity & then my brother & parents called me after they had a whole house meeting saying the name “wouldn’t get her a job”.. now I’m back to square one 🙄

Yeah, I live in a small town too.. So my daughters going to go to school with her daughter some day with the exact name. I just hate to sound childish lol I'm sorry yall..

I had Ember picked out since I was little loved the name for some reason! Told a girl and she ended up being pregnant with a little girl and I'm having a little boy and she's naming her ember...like I honestly was really mad!

I feel the same way with my daughters name. It's not a common name. But I hear it every once in a while. It's Aviana leecia. 👑 your definitely not in the wrong for getting upset.

I get really upset about names honestly. I would be really mad if someone stole it and it honestly makes me upset when people constantly ask me also. Like if I wanted everyone to know I would tel them 😂
