my little girl does I just continue burping her and rubbing her back and she burps sooner or later. or I would lay her down for a few mins and try again

My baby does! I try to wake her up when she does.

It just makes me nervous because once she falls asleep there is no point in trying to burp her. I don't want gas to build up in her belly or for her to spit up once I lay her down.
