I'd be careful about doing that uncontrolled sugars can not only cause birth defects but can also cause death of they are either too high or too low.. too high you will go into a coma and have a chace of being treated at the hospital and living but I don't know the side effect for the baby of then..

you don't have to be over weight to ghetto gestational diabetes..anyone can have it and it's better to be safe then sorry

No history, I've never been overweight and all my urine test have came back fine. So that's kinda the reason I'm refusing to do the test, thank you @jheyer1109 !

Oh, I'd say if you have no family history of diabetes, aren't considered overweight (before pregnancy) and all your urine tests have been ok, go for it.
