So a friend of mine posted this on Facebook this morning and the post itself is a few years old but…

I love it when people touch my belly

I prefer if people would ask. but I don't mind it too much

I cringe when someone TRIES to touch me. lol

My SO thinks its me being selfish , but honestly ive always been that type to not be so physical so being pregnant makes it 10x worse ! The only person who does touch my stomach is my SO . Im so glad im not the only one lol I myself was starting to feel like "am i being selfish?" 😆

I've always had issues with physical contact for some reason. I don't like hugs or anything from anyone except my husband and my baby sister. Even in previous relationships I did not cuddle or show affection often. Now with my belly getting bigger everyone sees it as an invitation to touch me.. It drives me crazy lol

Very few people have gone that far, and some of the weirdest are people who have asked...so lol. Is usually hate being touched but it is no big thing to me.

I don't find it selfish at all. The way I see it is what if I walked up to someone and put my hands all over them with out asking lol or if I did ask and they said no I did it anyway. that's harassment and theyd obviously feel awkward about it lol @emgxo

I prefer they ask. I'm very...territorial? Like, I can deal with a belly rub, they're sweet. But from random people it just makes me feel kind of violated.

Hasn't it technically always been illegal to touch someone without permission pregnant or not? Lol

No stranger has tried to touch me yet. I don't even know how I'll react. I love when my husband touches me but when my mom does it makes me really man and uncomfortable.

Just rub their belly back😂😂 but it definitely does not make you selfish. It's your damn body.

ugh I told my mom out right not to do it because it makes me uncomfortable. I've sucked it up a few times and offered when you can feel him moving or feel where he is but any time she sees me she reaches out.. I have to stop her and tell her again. so I feel your pain @jana.bear

Youd think of all people your mom would be ok right? but I like squirm away from her. It weirds me out. I feel horrible because my mom has never been pregnant so it takes everything I have not to hiss at her like Gollum and say "my precious!" @maciecakes
