I'm a FTM so I'm still trying to learn some things and figure out what's normal and what's not. my daughter will be one month. on Monday. She is extremely strong in her legs. Whenever I try to do tummy time on her mat instead of trying to lift her head she uses her legs and lifts her whole bottom half of her body up and just shoves her face down into the mat.. She does that and gets so upset and starts screaming. the only time she will try and lift her head is when I lay her against my chest. My fiancé was watching her for only a minute so I could pee and he came running to the bathroom with her and told me that she pushed herself up with her legs in her bouncer and tried to roll out of it. Is it normal for her to be taht storng with her legs already? And should I be concerned with her not wanting to lift her head well on her mat? On her mat she's more interested in using her legs then her neck. I just worry that she won't be lifting her head when she should be.

@kreeblim, what way would I prop her on the nursing pillow? On her belly?
Yeah we called our daughter a baby hulk you can also prop her up on a nursing pillow @kitkat1221
@kreeblim, I'll have to try those! Thanks! my daughter just scares me with how strong she already is. And @tobialessa my daughter does this wiggle thing to scoot closer to me in bed since we cosleep. I'll have in thr middle of the bed between my finacé and I and by the time she wakes me up for a feeding or anything she's right there haha my daughter likes to try and fling herself out my arms too! hahaha she did thst to my mother in law and she freaked out at how strong she was and that was when she was a week old too. And I'm going to continue to have her on my chest. She's obviously not liking the mat.
my daughter is almost 3 months & she won't roll over, or sit up, this girl tries to CRAWL. she kicks her little legs so much she scoots! its kind of adorable, & she'll get so mad when she doesn't move. she's top heavy, so her head really weighs her down, she gets tired trying to lift it. she's very strong in her neck tho, its crazy, i'll be holding her & the next thing i know she kicks & throws her head back & nearly flings herself out of my arms lmao!
just takes some time, if she only lifts her head when she's on your chest, so be it she's probably just more comfortable with the support from you (:
My little lady was exactly the same her legs are crazy strong. We started carrying her face down on our arm so she'd be forced to work her neck out more. We also did tummy time with her across our knees (you can google a picture of this) she 3 months now her neck is crazy strong just like her legs.

Me and my princess first time getting epidural and I’m numb from legs is this normal i can’t walk good yet

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️

So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It...
I hate my generation sometimes ?
Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Anyways I was talking to one of the ladies there since my son and her daughter were playing together. I asked her what her daughters name was, she said it was Layla. I told her that's a really pretty name and asked her if she was a Clapton fan and if she was named after the song. Th...
