Only 17 weeks and my bf's aunt is already talking about making a room in her house into a nursery and whisking away my daughter so her and the bf's 5 year old female cousin from another uncle can dress her up and play w her... Maybe I'm overreacting but I'm getting mildly #territorial 😒
I also went thru that with my mother in law. She use to live 5 minutes away from our old apartment & when my baby girl was born. I had her there every single daaaayyyy allll dddaaayyyy ! Ugh i would get sooo frustrated because i wanted to spend time with my daughter since she was in nicu for 2 weeks. But nope she will be there, she wanted to take her a shower all the time , she wanted to dress her like she wanted , & she wiuld never let me do anything with her 😔
Until we moved away lol she hardly comes & sees her every week. But at least she's not at my house eveeryy single day & aaalll daaayy !
RIGHT!!! LOL uhh it makes me mad. yeah we will see when my baby is here who will be doing what lol
My bf being the same way "you should be happy she wants to help us and be involved" .. Too involved lol I'm the mama not her @caddiebugg
I don't know. but it's irritating that he won't say anything to her an just keeps letting her think that it's okay.
I was wondering if I was just being hormonal and crazy bc that's how he made me feel when I made it clear I wasn't exactly thrilled w his aunt's behavior.. I'm glad I'm not alone!
oh me either. I try to tell my boyfriend that he needs to tell her that this is our baby not theres. we will be the one raising it not her an he said no they will be to. umm no? so it looks like she keeps it up I will have to be one who sets everyone straight. after all I'm the one who body is changing an will go through the birth of it an be taking care of it most of the time so I think I have a little say in what will he/she will be doing. @lilmama23
definitely not alone, my MNL call mine and my husbands baby "OUR" baby and I was no you mean your grandchild and OUR baby while pointing at her son and I. lol.
@caddiebugg, im afraid of the same problem.. my bf's mother had him young and abandoned him so the aunt basically raised him as her own since he was little but never had her own kids.. not liking the vibe I'm getting at all
my mother in law is acting like she will be the one who is raising my kid. an she gets to tell me all the time what I will an won't be eating an how she will always be dressing my baby in this or that. it's annoying me lol it's my kid an my body an i will eat whatever an dress my baby how ever I want to.
your not over reacting at all I think I'm the same way
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
not the hormones been there . my mother in law basically grew up my husbands niece since her mom wasnt really around so she thought it would be the same way with my little one ,i set things straight right away ,she cannot take him anywhere or get him without my permission, get after him or even do as much as spank/raise her voice at him . and my husband had my back once my littlw one was about to be born i told my husband and sister in law to not mention it to her till the day after because she was already wanting to take the 7 hr trip to be at the hospital i wanted the moment for my partner and i with our baby . mext few days she was around but i didnt let her carry him much i could tell it bothered her . and she would always try to make my husband give our baby formula knowing that i was breastfeeding ! ive been breastfeeding 13 months and she still tries to meddle into it i just back her off . i just think its better telling her way before baby comes along
